Ryan Tannehill avoids serious injury after leaving Dolphins practice, reports say

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill avoided serious injury after leaving Dolphins practice Thursday with a non-contact leg injury, according to multiple reports.

NFL Media cited a team source saying Tannehill suffered no structural damage when his left knee buckled during a scramble Thursday morning. The Sun Sentinel reported he suffered a hyperextended left knee.

Tannehill missed the final three games of the regular season and the Dolphins’ playoff loss to Pittsburgh after spraining ligaments in his left knee. He has been wearing a brace on the knee during camp.

Last year’s injury was a first for Tannehill, who had started all 77 games for the Dolphins since being selected eighth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Located about 40 miles northeast of AT&T Stadium, where the Cowboys play their home games, is the place they now call home. Construction of facility in Frisco, a Dallas suburb, was completed before the 2016 season, but the final group to leave the Cowboys’ former home in Valley Ranch, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, arrived this summer.
